The prize draw is open to anyone in ROI over the age of 18. The prize draw is not open to anyone directly connected with this prize draw. Employees of the SSE Group may enter the prize draw.

Entry into this prize draw is deemed to be acceptance of these rules.

Names of winners may be published on the SSE Airtricity website.

The prize draw opens on 8 December 2022

The prize draw closes on 31 March 2023 at 23:59. Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.

ROI Entrants who complete 4 quizzes and obtain 4 green goals badges, shall be entered into the prize draw, which will be held on 3 April 2023

Every valid entry is entered into a prize draw where entrants could win: €1,000 off their electricity bill in 2023 (the “Prize”). This amount is inclusive of VAT and will appear as a credit on winner’s SSE Airtricity electricity account for a credit meter, or where winner has a prepay meter, will be given top-up codes for a prepay meter for this amount. Credit can only be applied to an existing SSE Airtricity electricity customer’s account. Full credit amount to be applied or claimed by 31 December 2023. Initial credit will be added/topped-up to account 90 days from notification as winner of The Prize. For prepay meters, there will be a max of for (12) installments, inc VAT. VAT amount is subject to change and will be applicable as and when invoices/top-up codes are issued. Payments will be adjusted as necessary to meet €1,000 credit amount.

One (1) winner will be selected from all entries.

The winner will be selected at random and will be notified by email or phone no later than the close of business on 14 April 2023.

On notification of winning, the winner will be instructed on the collection or delivery of the Prize.

The Promotor reserves the right to replace the Prize with an equivalent prize without notice.

No purchase is necessary

The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. No part or parts of the Prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. The Prize must not be sold on or transferred to another party.

The winner may be required to participate in publicity.

The Promotor reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate the prize draw without prior notice.

The Promotor’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promotor accepts no liability for lost entries. The Promotor and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this prize draw, including any technical, hardware or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in the prize draw.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promotor accepts no liability for any loss damage and/or personal injury suffered by the winner(s) or any guests chosen to participate with the winner in the Prize, as a result of their participation in the prize draw and/or arising out of the winner's enjoyment of the Prize.

The Promotor reserves the right to exclude any entries at its complete discretion, including those entries that the Promotor believes to be fraudulent, or based on misconduct.

By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to the personal data they supply being used by the Promotor to administer the prize draw.

This prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ireland.
